In an attempt to find some meaning in the “civilized madness” of war, hate and the destruction of our dear planet Earth, I look to those native cultures that have quietly maintain a consistent respect for each other and for the earth on which they walk.
“Memories of a Past Long Ago” is an unfolding exploration of rituals and designs of the Diaguita Indians who live on the American soil of Northern Argentina.
The Diaguita designs depict a commitment to finding an expression and manifestation of a spiritual life within the powerful simplicity of Mother Nature.
The designs were placed in the midst of an overworked background signaling the struggled attempts of us 21st Century humans to find spiritual, emotional, and physical peace among ourselves while traversing across this planet.
